Above the Law – Time Will Reveal

1. Intro
2. Encore…Slow, laidback beat.  Good flow and a dope ass hook.  4.5/5
3. Evil that men do…Beat starts out with a simple piano loop, then it is accompanied by a classic west coast beat.  Both KMG and Hutch put it down lyrically.  4/5
4. Table dance…interlude
5. Gorilla pimpin’…Quality production with many different sounds used.  Kokane adds a great verse.  4/5
6. 1996…Production has a bit of a dark feel to it.  Tight flow.  Nice hook.  4/5
7. Killaz in the park…Very laidback beat.  Lyrics match well.  MC Ren lends a tight ass verse in the middle and Kokane puts the added touch to the chorus.  4/5
8. 100 spokes…Track has a tight beat, but I don’t like the dragging “wooow” noise at the beginning.  Otherwise the lyrics are on point and the hook is dope.  4/5
9. Clinic 2000…Smooth laidback beat.  Kokane opens it up with a pimp intro.  Everybody puts down a tight verse including the guest artists.  Catchy hook.  4.5/5
10.   My world…This track almost sounds like it belongs on “Uncle Sam’s Curse”.  Good production and tight lyrics.  3.5/5
11.   Endonesia…Nice track; it isn’t just about weed.  Decent production and lyrics.  3.5/5
12.   Shout 2 the true…Hella slow beat.  Decent production.  Hutch and KMG ride the track well.  3.5/5
13.   Playaz & gangstaz…Classic Hutch production.  Good flow and hook.  4/5
14.   City of angels…Solid production.  Hutch and KMG put down decent verses.  Frost appears in the final verse and lays a tight flow down.  3.5/5
15.   Apocalypse now…Smooth quality production.  Verses are tight, but the song could have used an actual hook.  4/5

OVERALL…8/10

High quality production by Hutch throughout.  The album starts to lag near the end when compared to the first half.  Still, it contains many songs worth listening to over and over.  Good replay value.

It's a shame Above The Law and Kokane didn't work together again after this release although I heard Mr. Kane might appear on their new project.
