Heroes and Villains

How I love my girl
Dit dit dit, heroes and villains ...

I've been in this town so long that back in the city
I've been taken for lost and gone
And unknown for a long long time

Fell in love years ago with an innocent girl
From the Spanish and Indian home
Home of the heroes and villains

Once at night Catillian squared the fight
And she was right in the rain of the bullets
That eventually brought her down

But she's still dancing in the night unafraid
Of what a dude'll do
In a town full of heroes and villains

Heroes and villains
Just see what you've done

Heroes and villains
Just see what you've done

Stand or fall, I know there shall be peace in the valley
And it's all an affair of my life
With the heroes and villains

In the cantina, Margarita's kept the spirit high
There I watched her
She spun around and wound in the warmth
Her body fanned the flame of the dance
Dance, Margarita, don't you know that I'm in love with you
Dance
Dance

You're under arrest!

My children were raised
You know they suddenly rise
They started slow
Long ago
Head to toe
Healthy wealthy and wise

I've been in this town so long
So long to the city
I'm fit with the stuff
To ride in the rough
And sunny down snuff I'm alright
By the heroes and -

Heroes and villains
Just see what you've done

Heroes and villains
Just see what you've done

Roll Plymouth Rock (Do You Like Worms?)

Waving from the ocean liners
Beaded, cheering Indians behind her

Rock, rock, roll Plymouth Rock, roll over
Rock, rock, roll Plymouth Rock, roll over

Ribbon of concrete, just see what you've done
To the church of the American Indian

Once upon the Sandwich Isles
The social structure steamed upon Hawaii

Rock, rock, roll Plymouth Rock, roll over
Rock, rock, roll Plymouth Rock, roll over

Bicycle rider, just see what you've done
To the church of the American Indian

Wahala loo lei, wahala loo la
Kini waka poola
Wahala loo lei, wahala loo la
Kini waka poola
Wahala loo lei, wahala loo la
Kini waka poola
Wahala loo lei, wahala loo la
Kini waka poola
Wahala loo lei, wahala loo la
Kini waka poola

Rock, rock, roll Plymouth Rock, roll over
Rock, rock, roll Plymouth Rock, roll over

Barnyard

Out in the barnyard, the chickens do their number
Out in the farmyard, the cook is chopping lumber

Jump in the pigpen, next time I'll take my shoes off
Hit the dirt, do two and a half, next time I'll leave my hat on

The Old Master Painter/You Were My Sunshine

You were my sunshine, my only sunshine
You made me happy when skies were grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
How could you take my sunshine away

Cabin Essence

Light the lamp and fire mellow
Cabin essence timely hello
Welcomes the time for a change

Lost and found, you still remain there
You'll find a meadow filled with grain there
I'll give you a home on the range

Who ran the iron horse?
Who ran the iron horse?
Who ran the iron horse?
Who ran the iron horse?
Who ran the iron horse?
Who ran the iron horse?
Who ran the iron horse?
Who ran the iron horse?
Who ran the iron horse?
Who ran the iron horse?

I want to watch you windblown facing
Waves of wheat for your embracing
Folks sing a song of the grange

Nestle in a kiss below there
The constellations ebb and flow there
And witness our home on the range

Who ran the iron horse? (Truck driving man do what you can)
Who ran the iron horse? (High-tail your load off the road)
Who ran the iron horse? (Out of night-life-it's a gas man)
Who ran the iron horse? (I don't believe I gotta grieve)
Who ran the iron horse? (In and out of luck)
Who ran the iron horse? (With a buck and a booth)
Who ran the iron horse? (Catchin' on to the truth)
Who ran the iron horse? (In the vast past, the last gasp)
Who ran the iron horse? (In the land, in the dust, trust that you must)
Who ran the iron horse? (Catch as catch can)

Hey Mister,
Have you seen the grand coolie workin' on the railroad?
Have you seen the grand coolie workin' on the railroad?
Have you seen the grand coolie workin' on the railroad?

Over and over
The crow cries uncover the cornfield

Over and over
The thresher and hover the wheat field

Over and over
The crow cries uncover the cornfield

Over and over
The thresher and hover the wheat field

Wonderful

She belongs there, left with her liberty
Never known as a non-believer
She laughs and stays in
The won-won-won-Wonderful

She knew how to gather the forest, when
God reached softly and moved her body
One golden locket, quite young,
And loving her mother and father

Farther down, the path was a mystery
Through the recess, the chalk and numbers,
A boy bumped into
Her won-won-won-Wonderful

All fall down, and lost in the mystery
Lost it all to a non-believer
And all that's left is a girl
Who's loved by her mother and father

She'll return, in love with her liberty,
Just away from the non-believer
She'll sigh and thank God
For one-one-one-Wonderful

Song For Children (Look)

Maybe not one
Maybe you too
Are wondering

Wondering who
Wonderful you
Wondering

Child child child, child child father of the sun

Where is the father
Father of the sun which shines
Where is the father
Where is the wonderful me
Wonderful you

Now I'm knowing what you're wondering
If you're my wonderful you
I can stop you wondering
If you're my wonderful

Child child child, child child father of the sun
Child child child, child child father of the sun

Child Is Father Of The Man

The child, the child, the child is father of the man
The child, the child, the child is father of the man
The child, the child, the child is father of the man
The child, the child, the child is father of the man

Easy, my child
It's just enough to believe
I believe, I believe in you

Out of the wild
Into what you can't conceive
You'll achieve

The child, the child, the child is father of the man
The child, the child, the child is father of the man
The child, the child, the child is father of the man
The child, the child, the child is father of the man

Surf's Up

A diamond necklace played the pawn
Hand in hand some drummed along, oh
To a handsome man and baton

A blind class aristocracy
Back through the opera glass you see
The pit and the pendulum drawn

Columnated ruins domino
Canvass the town and brush the backdrop
Are you sleeping?

Hung velvet overtaken me
Dim chandelier awaken me
To a song dissolved in the dawn

The music hall a costly bow
The music all is lost for now
To a muted trumperter swan

Columnated ruins domino
Canvass the town and brush the backdrop
Are you sleeping, Brother John?

Dove nested towers the hour
Was strike the street quicksilver moon
Carriage across the fog
Two-step to lamp lights cellar tune
The laughs come hard in Auld Lang Syne

The glass was raised, the fired rose
The fullness of the wine, the dim last toasting
While at port adieu or die

A choke of grief hard hardened I
Beyond belief a broken man too tough to cry

Surf's Up ...
Aboard a tidal wave
Come about hard and join
The young and often spring you gave
I heard the word
Wonderful thing
A children's song

A children's song (Child, child, child, child, child)
Have you listened as they play (A child is the father of the man)
Their song is love (Child, child, child, child, child)
And the children know the way (A child is the father of the man)

A children's song (Child, child, child, child, child)
Have you listened as they play (That's why the child is the father to the man)
Their song is love (Child, child, child, child, child)
And the children know the way (That's why the child is the father to the man)

A child ...

I'm In Great Shape

Fresh clean air around my head
Mornings tumble out of bed
Eggs and grits and lickety-split, look at me jump!
I'm in the great shape of the agriculture

I Wanna Be Around/Friday Night

I wanna be around to pick up the pieces
When somebody breaks your heart - your heart
When somebody breaks your heart - your heart
In two - in two

Vega-Tables

I'm gonna be 'round my vegetables
I'm gonna chow down my vegetables, I
Love you most of all
My favorite vegetable

If you brought a big brown bag of 'em home,
I'd jump up and down and hope you'd toss me a carrot

I'm gonna keep well, my vegetables
Cart off and sell my vegetables, I
Love you most of all
My favorite vegetable

I tried to kick the ball, but my tennie flew right off
I'm red as a beet 'cause I'm so embarrassed

(Mom and dad said)

"Sleep a lot, eat a lot, brush 'em like crazy
Run a lot, do a lot, never be lazy, boy
Sleep a lot, eat a lot, brush 'em like crazy
Run a lot, do a lot, never be lazy, boy"

I threw away my candy bar and I ate the wrapper
And when they told me what I did, I burst into laughter

I know that you'll feel better when
You send us in your letter and
Tell us the name of your
Your favorite vegetable

Holiday/Whispering Winds

A pirate with a tune on a holiday
A lazy Mr. Moon on a getaway
And isn't that a mood for a milky way
A ukelele lady around a lei

Rock, rock, roll
Rock, rock, roll Plymouth Rock, roll over
For a holiday
With a rondele

Abaft and forth a starboard course
With north abeam, sherry of course
The men will share some sport and now be hearty
Not the rum of Carib's scum
It's port tonight - drink up and come
Unweigh the anchor Yank and we will party!

A shanty town, a shanty in Waikiki
And juxtapose a man with a mystery
A blue Hawaiian captured a holiday
E ola 'o Kalani, your song we'll play

Rock, rock, roll
Rock, rock, roll Plymouth Rock, roll over
For a holiday

Long, long ago, long ago

Whisperin' winds send my wind chimes a-tinglin'
Whisperin' winds send my wind chimes a-tinglin'
Whisperin' winds send my wind chimes a-tinglin'
Whisperin' winds send my wind -

Wind Chimes

Hanging down from my window
Those are my wind chimes

On the warm breeze the little bells
Tinkle like wind chimes

Though it's hard I try not to look at my wind chimes
Now and then a tear rolls off my cheek

Close your eyes and lean back now
Listen to wind chimes

In the late afternoon you're
Hung up on wind chimes

Though it's hard I try not to look at my wind chimes

Fire/Mrs. O'Leary's Cow

Water Chant

Water, water, water, water

Is it hot as hell in here, or is it me?
It really is a mystery
If I die before I wake I pray the Lord my soul to take my misery

I could really use a drop to drink
Somewhere in a placid pool and sink
Feel like I was really in the - pink

Blue Hawaii (I Love To Say Da Da)

I knew it's a dream, but I don't sleep
I'm slumbering
There's still a promise we must keep
I'm wondering

Wa wa ho wa, Hawaii
Wa wa ho wa
Hawaii lay beyond the sea
Wa wa ho wa, Hawaii
Wa wa ho wa, Hawaii (oriental Hawaii)
Wa wa ho wa, Hawaii

Oh, I could use a drop to drink right now
In a waterfall, back there in Hawaii
Take me to a Luau now
And lay before me holy, holy Kau

Down in blue Hawaii
So far away in blue Hawaii

Aloha nui means goodbye

Good Vibrations

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears
And she's already working on my brain
I, I only looked in her eyes
But I picked up something I just can't explain

I'm pickin' up good vibrations
She's giving me excitations
I'm pickin' up good vibrations
She's giving me excitations
Good good good good vibrations
She's giving me excitations
Good good good good vibrations
She's giving me excitations

I, I bet I know what she's like
And I feel how right she'd be for me
It's weird how she comes in so strong
And I wonder what she's pickin' up from me

I'm pickin' up good vibrations
She's giving me excitations
I'm pickin' up good vibrations
She's giving me excitations
Good good good good vibrations
She's giving me excitations
Good good good good vibrations
She's giving me excitations

Elation ...

Ah my my what elation
I don't know where but she sends me there
Ah my my what a sensation
Ah my my what a sensation

Gotta keep those lovin'
Vibrations a-happenin' with her
Gotta keep those lovin'
Vibrations a-happenin' with her
Gotta keep those lovin'
Vibrations a-happenin' with her
Gotta keep those lovin'
Vibrations a-happenin' with her

Good good good good vibrations
Good good good good vibrations

Good vibrations, yeah!
Good vibrations, yeah!

Brian Wilson is one of the most charismatic performers i have ever seen in my life.....I saw him perform when he was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno about 2 years ago, right before christmas....he was very friendly, he greeted the crowed, and was very happy, smiling when he was on stage...and very talkative, Never seen a guy like him....his music aint of my cup of tea, but he's a cool dude, Seriously

Uh.... I'm a big Brian Wilson fan and all... I love the guy... but "Charismatic", I dunno about that one.  Are you POSITIVE it was Brian Wilson? lol The Brian Wilson I know doesn't hardly even speak in interviews, he has terrible stage fright, and is usually pretty nervous on stage...

If he was cool on the Leno show, though, Great! Can't beat that.  He was touring with "Pet Sounds Live" about that time, so it sounds right...

EASSSSSSSILY one of the greatest artists of all time, people ain't knowin

Yeah, he's a nice guy.  He's got a very 'innocent' personality, between songs and things he'll say "Thank you very much! Thank you very much! You make me feel good! I Like to hear your applause!" and childish things, people really like the guy.

Now we're talking about the dude..
I get the "Look!" and "Smile!" but what the fuck does he mean with "Vibrate!"
