Snoop Dogg – Tha Doggfather

1. Intro
2. Doggfather…Production has a 70’s pimp track feel to it.  Snoop’s flow is average at best.  3/5
3. Ride 4 me…interlude
4. Up jump tha boogie…Nice production.  Head noddin’ beat.  Good Snoop flow.  4/5
5. Freestyle conversation…Quiet, low beat, but that’s the way the track was intended.  Dope flow.  4/5
6. When I grow up…interlude
7. Snoop bounce…Classic west-coast production.  Charlie Wilson provides a nice hook.  Snoop sounds real good on the track.  4.5/5
8. Gold rush…Unique production.  I’m just not feelin’ the song.  3/5
9. (Tear ‘em off) Me & my doggz…Nothing special about production.  Average flow.  3/5
10.   You thought…Beat gets repetitive and annoying.  Features Too Short.  I skip it every time.  1/5
11.   Vapors…Cool laidback production.  Snoop sounds so comfortable over the track.  I like the content about 213 coming up.  5/5
12.   Groupie…Dope hook.  Decent production.  3.5/5
13.   2001…Boring beat, but a good flow.  3/5
14.   Sixx minutes…Laidback beat.  Quiet delivery of lyrics, which fits the song well.  3.5/5
15.   (DJ) Wake up…Features Tray Dee.  Probably the worst production of the whole album.  1/5
16.   Snoop’s upside your head…Good production.  Dope lyrics.  Catchy hook.  3.5/5
17.   Blueberry…Production has an older feel, but it sounds real good.  Kurupt and Daz are featured here to put down a nice flow.  3.5/5
18.   Traffic jam…interlude
19.   Doggyland…Nothing interesting in the lyrics.  Production not interesting.  2/5
20.   Downtown assassins…Tight beat loop.  Tray Deee and Daz are featured here and all 3 lay down tight verses.  4/5
21.   Outro

OVERALL…6.5

This album lacks in just about every department.  The production is mediocre, Snoops flow is laxed and boring, and the hooks are average.  Most songs are worth skipping and only a few worth replaying.  Fairly disappointing album.

I don't like "Tha Doggfather" that much too. The beats are terrible and Snoop sounds very unmotivated.

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Yep they are all opinions my friends.....

And Bigg Technizzle...1)my fault man, I usually don't check to see if anyone else has rated an album, I'm sorry if I pissed you off and that my ratings aren't up to your standards.

2)Flood the board with nonsense????  To me nonsense would be if I created a thread where I said, "I like the album", or somethin' like that.  I take some time with my reviews, reviewing each song and rating it.

So KMA!!!

Yes I agree, except for a few songs... the album is terrible as a whole, I never bump it no more.
