The end of the world has been predicted numerous times and was supposed to have happened in the Middle Ages,in the 19th century and several times in the 20th century. None of them happened (obviously). Don't panic. The end of the world ain't gonna happen and certainly not in the sense of an Armageddon or Ragnarok.

So I pay attention to the odd conspiracy theories here and there on the internet and right now there's a big furor concerning meteor impacts this June. Now these predictions and doomsday scenarios are usually far fetched and dont hold any real evidence and just offer a wait and see attitude... well, it's June so we'll soon see. But already certain things are starting to peek peoples interest. There was an incident in the Seattle area Thursday morning that has gotten some reaction : http://www.komotv.com/stories/31552.htm . And for some, the deployment of seven US Navy Carriers grabbed peoples attention : http://www.iwar.org.uk/news-archive/2004/06-03-5.htm . And when I heard about George Tenent's resignation I couldnt help but think of Deep Impact and Oliver Cromwell's charcter resigning over personal issues, haha, that's just a grab in the dark though : http://edition.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/e...enet.europe.ap/ .

The point is that you can't be concerned with that. If you think about the end 24/7 you might as well be dead anyways because your not living life to the fullest.
