The double standard of the word "COWARD"
« on: June 11, 2004, 11:55:29 PM »
these iraqi fuckers hide in the shadows and wait for american soliders to walk down the street. its a country full of cowards with guns.

What the fuck you want them to do...march? I don't know if you forgot but they have a right to defend their country from invaders.

Coward is hiding in the jungles ambushing marching Red Coats (British troops).

Coward is dropping 2 atomic bombs on Japan.

Coward is bombing Baghdad from 2,000 miles away from the Atlantic/Indian ocean.

Coward is calling in for air support during a ground battle.

sorry but none of those are "Coward"

Coward is defined as:

One who shows ignoble fear in the face of danger or pain.

:) you made a thread just for me im happy.

1. actually 90% of the time the american troops faught in open fields. you know that stupid type of warefare where you stand in rows and the 1st row gets killed lol.

2. Yea....um do you know anything about ww2? when japan attacked us do you think we just dropped 2 bombs and then went home? no  fucking way. 16 million americans were in the military. we fought the germans, italians, and the japanese for years over europe and africa. then after japan declared that they would not surrender. Truman was faced witha  decision. A) continue fighting into japan, and have the possibilty of loosing, or massive casualties B) drop the 2 bombs and end the war, benifiting japan and america. (although japan lost 2 cities, if we were to invade their country it would have been alot worse.)

3. Yea we did bomb? but while that was happening marines were fighting, and dying. We didnt just fly a b-52 over to iraq and bomb them then leave. marines and army personal were fighting....and still are.

4. again....when you call in air support you are fighting in the open ground. Your facing down the enemy.

if all that is being a coward then i dont know what is bravery. i can easily load up my truck with bombs and drive it into a building.....doesnt take much skill.

If we would have gone into iraq and just taken out their leaders. with no rebel fighters attacking us. You know how simple this war would have been? the death toll on both sides would be extremly low.

I bet about 75% of Iraqi causalities both civilians/military were killed by the Air Force.

Ok America is really high tech when it comes to war, I wouldn't consider that cowardly in every instance but to call poor Iraqi fighters hiding in the shadows cowards is just stupid.

lol the US military is monitoring Iraq with satellite cameras and you want these Iraqis to come and fight paintball style  ;D you must be kidding.

Remember in the begin of this war when several Iraqi cities were surrounded by thousands of Iraqi Republican guards/tanks/anti-aircraft and all. Well the US military just took satellite images of them and dropped new high tech bombs on all them day and night.

^Some would consider that cowardly  ;)
