A boy of mine told me about these cats on Third Earth Music, and gave me this link. It's a collage of snippets from the Others' new album, Past Futuristic.


Frankly, I don't know a motherfuckin' thing about these dudes, and in most circumstances, a cover normally exuding that much early '90s cartoon-watching nostalgia wouldn't even get a second look from me.

But this shit seriously bumps. The beats are nothing particularly eccentric, and the emcees are actually capable of keeping my attention, unlike labelmates Dujeous a.k.a. the Roots, Jr.

Somebody drop some knowledge.
