Do you vote?
« on: June 26, 2004, 08:12:00 PM »
I've noticed that young people rarely exercise their right to vote, so I'm just wondering: Do the members of this board vote? And what is the age when you are allowed? It's 18 in Canada.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

18 in Germany. I turned 18 in February, and there was only once the chance to vote since. The election for the European Parliament. I voted for the Green Party.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

I only vote for the national elections. The first time I could vote was in America, I could go to Scottsdale and vote at the Dutch Embassy. Coincidentally my plane to Hawaii would leave that morning, so I didn't vote :P The elections before that were 4 days before my 18th bithday :-\

don't vote.... it's really a waste of time, you pretty much vote for who the better liar is ... and while you are voting for the figure head of the united states government, you can't control who his advisers are...i like living my life knowing that i didn't vote any one into office

Since I was born, my Dad voted for Reagan Twice, then he voted for Dukakis and lost, then he voted for Clinton, I voted for Clinton his second term, and then I voted for Bush.  I'm going to vote for Bush again this fall.

18 here although blair recently tried to lower the voting age to 16 to gain back some popularity lol. i voted in the european elections and will be voting in the general election next year

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?

I casted my first vote ever today.
