Back in 96 when Dre left Death Row, Suge gave out several contracts to producers. One was DJ Ezcut, this guy has been around for years and worked with my friend DJ Slip back in the day on some projects, hes a radio DJ now, anyway, Ezcut was one of many producers over there, one of the projects he was involved with was. . .

Are you talking bout Ezi Cut? He's from my neck of the woods (Denmark). He's done a bunch of stuff both in the states & Denmark....among them 2Pac...It's probably the same guy but I never knew he was down with Death Row for a second.
He's very tight with Madness 4 Real (one of the best producer-teams ever...who also happen to be danish) who produced Cube, Eazy-E, Lench Mob, MC Ren, BG Knoccout & Dresta, etc. etc. etc. They were contracted to Ruthless for some years. Continuing the Denmark/Westcoast-history, Soulshock & Karlin of 2Pac fame (Me Against The World) also represent Denmark :)

I always assumed that line was referring to him signing back in 93 or 94

According to someone that has appeared on 3 Warren G albums, they told me Warren G was offered a deal to join Death Row in 1999/2000. Antonio I believe you speak or used to speak with them online ;).

JohnDoe, I dont think so homie. The DJ Ezcutt I mean is from Cali, Suge signed him to Death Row in 97, right after Dre left the label. He's worked with a host of artists back in the day from Crooked I, Bloody Mary & RedRum, MC Eiht etc. He currently has his own hip-hop radio show.
