Shakespeare is wack.  He's been glorified like no other, but I don't see anything special or unique about him.  Maybe it's because the language was different back then, but they were always trying to shove that wack shit in my face in school and I wasn't having it.  And people act like they still like him today, I don't get it.  Peace.

Maybe because over the years, so many people have sampled and copied off his original ideas that they don't seem so original anymore. Think about it like that.

Infinite you need to open your horizons man.

You made that EMBARASSING thread in the main forum a while back about classical music being shit and Beethoven and Mozart being overated, you said that The Eminem Show was "the greatest album ever made", and now your saying the most popular writer of all time is "wack".

You have come to this conclusion because:

1) You don't like being told what to do, especially by teachers, so you naturally find nearly anything they recommend or endorse crap.

2) You don't like anything endorsed by the 'establishment'.

3) Trauma likes Shakespeare.

4) Shakespeare did nothing to stop the slave trade/racism etc. (lol)

Stop trying to bring down anything you don't like.

I'm not just gonna automatically say he's great because that's what I was taught in school.  Fuck that, they taught me alot of things that were bullshit, how come I only started learning anything when I got out of school?  What did he write about that was controversial, I think he was spineless, writing about love, that's a played out topic, he's the NSync of writing.

He wrote about more than love (love is never a played out topic IMO). What made it so special was the way he expressed his feelings using the English language. Its in old english so it's hard to understand, but when it's translated it is great.
