G-Unit = 90s Dogg Pound

Yup G-Unit is like the 2000's DPG, 50 is snoop and and guess what, it all goes back and links to 1 man....dre, and dre still = dre.

50 came on the scene from dre with his first album = snoop comin on the scene by dre with doggystyle

50 drops a g unit album = snoop gathers the dogg pound and drops dogg food

DPG/Death Row was dominating the early 90s

G-Unit/Aftermath is dominating the early 2000s

I don't think they're similar at all.  DPG had more talent, but G-unit will have much more success, and probably won't fall off as hard.  I think Suge Knight not being in the picture can't do anything but help.

I disagree....if we're talking about Dogg Pound (kurupt and daz).  I mean daz did the production (with dre looking over his shoulder) g unit doesn't have one producer doing the entire album.  and banks can't touch kurupt in his prime.  Now if you're including snoop in the group, i still would probably disagree.  Back in like 93 to 95 snoop still gave a fuck about how he rapped, and i don't think he was over rated at all. i think g unit is significantly weaker than the dogg pound in every way.  50 is so over rated, and has been since he broke.  He was a sigh of relief though because he basically shut ja rule up, which needed to be done.

Good comparison.  If all goes accordingly, then G-Unit will go thru a lot of drama soon.

snoop wasnt overrated at all back then, he was dope as hell. Tha Dogg Pound owns G-Unit, no comparison. Snoop, Daz and Kurupt, in their prime, were all better lyricists than banks is now. G-unit sucks period.

peace.

It's like when you have those cheap ass cartoons that sometimes come out whenDisney puts a new movie out..bad imitations.
Dogg Pound was the original better version, G-Unit the fake imitation. It's true the DPG have nearly all fallen off but IMO, Snoop,Daz & Soopafly still killed, plucked and ate G-Unit on the DPG-Unit track.
Z knows about ALL your inner conflicts..
