RIP to the "Likwit" Mr X to the Z.....
« on: October 02, 2002, 07:06:40 AM »
Got to Give the Disfunctional Likwit Mc this....HE dropped 2 stunning albums and made some deadly collabs while in the Likwit Camp...

He will be missed...

"Pours some Apple Tango onto the floor"

Now as for the "Aftermath Affiliated" Xzibit, well he's done some so so collabs and dropped 2 poor albums....(although i don't mind "Man v Machine" not a bad album)

This new Xzibit will never be missed

"Throws a half eaten Mars Bar onto the ground"

i never liked 40 Dayz & ATSOL. IMO Restless and MVM are way better than his first two albums.

I like both Xzibits. At the Speed of Light Xzibit was pretty tight. 40 Days, 40 Nights was cool too, he was hungry as hell. Restless he still showed great hunger, and on Man vs. Machine, I'll hear when it comes out. All surprises for me, no snick peaks. But I will hear it when I buy it.

I got "40 Dayz & 40 Nightz" before "Restless" but I like "Restless" better.  Prolly cause of the beats.  That is just how I feel, and I can feel how the old X fans feel about his current style.

I've got all his albums, and Man v. Machine is his best work yet.

1. At The Speed Of Life
2. 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz
3. Restless
4. Man Vs. Machine

From that, in my opinon, Xzibit seems to get worse. I dont dislike any of the four albums hes dropped, but his first two were showcasing a more raw Xzibit.

For those who never liked Xzibit on his first two albums, but like his last two albums, that would mean you are probably a fan of the more gangsta/commercial Xzibit.  I personally thought Restless was Xzibits best ablum front to back, but i still don't like the idea of Xzibit being all gangsta and i hope he brings it back home to where he was on the first two albums.......

I rate Xzibit's Albums  like

At The Speed Of Life - 4.75 (minus 0.25 for hurrican Gee)
40 Days & 40 Nights - 3.00
Restless - 4.5
Man Vs Machine - 4.00

A.T.S.O.L. was banging, Production was dope & lyrics were on point. For me the production on 40 Days & 40 Nights was horrible @ some points X rips it on nearly every song but a real let down for me. Why no Thayod on 40 Days X he supplied you with the shit on A.T.S.O.L. Next Up restless and boom out the park great album solid production couple of wack songs but not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Man Vs Machine well just now i can't really give an honest opinion cause i have only had it for days so ask me in a year ;D

Slurred words, double vision, brain bustin, head rushin
Since I'm too drunk to walk, I rock a party on crutches
and still rush the roughest MC who wanna get it
Forget it, it's Likwit, Tha Liks and, Xzibit
Ca-Tash on the blast the final piece to the puzzle
I slap bitches on the ass I slap tits up out the muzzle
I shuffle with the microphone, bang rhymes consistant
You wack and I'm Ca-Tash and that's the motherfuckin difference
For instance, "21 and Over" set your clocks back
(Tick tock tick tock) Still standin where the rocks at
Two-thousand-one, we still young guns that's +Restless+&

His first 2 albums are classics....most of the people like the 2 last albums cuz are more commercial.
