I have high hopes for the team...And I still don't think they're done making moves.

I still don't think they're done making moves either.

I agree. Potentially they have the best roster possible to make trades. Young guys, you know. Small contracts, great flexibility.

We need one more big move. The only thing I didn't like about the last trade is that it seemed like a trade just to trade. We just traded because we can, and that's a really bad sign if a team does that, plus we got rid of a first round draft pick, which if a Nelson type player falls again to number 20, that would be a very bad move on the Lakers.

you cant count Kobe, Slava and the Rookie, since those ppl just stayed, and that's where it stops. It's not like they got em in exchange for Shaq, Payton or something.
also, dont count Malone (lmao @him being the best PF in the league... you forgot to take your blue pills this mornin?). He hasnt even re-signed with the Lakers, and if he does, read what I wrote regarding Kobe, Slava & this Dude

Why is it that the only NBA team we talk about is the lakers?

Lets start talking about a team that is going to win some games next season.

well they made the biggst trades this off-season.

other trades were big too.. houston/orlando for example, but you gotta admit Lakers made a huge change and it's gonna be interesting to see how the Goat-predicted Kobe does without Shoq. The best teams, Minnesota and San Antonio havent changed. And Mavs ruined themselves.

Nobody is saying this team is winning the Championship, fool. I said: Of course they aint pretenders, without Shaq. But they have a young team who can make the Play-Offs, advance, and who can let the Lakers aquire 2 pretty big names in the next 2 years of Free Agency. which is pretty different. And i've said in a lot of posts that It's over! :'( so what the fuck are you talking about? And about Mihm, he ranks #6 in the NBA in Offensive Rebounds Per 48 Minutes (5.6) and #10 in the NBA in Rebounds Per 48 Minutes (14.9). I never said he's better than Shaq, or as good as Shaq, cause he's just a backup center. But stats are stats. Next time you talk with me you betta check yourself, fool.

Kobe and Slava were unrestricted free agents. So i consider them as real aquisitions. Plus matter of fact the fact they signed Kobe was the reason why they traded Shaq, and viceversa. About Malone, i've added it both in the players "lost" or in the players "aquired", in black/white (we still dont know wassup with him). And yes, i think he's the best PF in the league, once again ask Garnett and Duncan about it. Y'all care too much about points scored. Malone can defend, he can pass, he has experience and leadership and IMO he's one of the 3 best PF ever.

lol, they wont make playoffs with that team. Malone ain't the best PF anymore, maybe he used to be, 5years ago or so, now he looks like grandpa and is too slow for the new "young" lakers team, build around kobe. What if Kobe gets injured, what then? Im waitin new "lakers" post tomorrow this same time ;)

the fact you really think malone is still anywhere near duncan and garnett with his 41 years when those 2 dudes are in their prime is fucking annoying.

Matter of fact Malone's Lakers eliminated Duncan's San Antonio and Garnett's Minnesota last year, thanx to Malone's defence. I didnt find it annoying, i've found it exciting. ;D

lol. the only difference is Duncan and Garnett OWN their teams, while the Lakers were owned by two players, and none of them was called Malone. Malone on  the Lakers is like Hoiberg on the Wolves, lmao.

btw: isnt this the topic that was "deleted"? LMAO.

So what? Of course Malone aint the same, phisically speaking, that he used to be 20 years ago. He's 41. But still he embarassed Garnett (20 years younger) and won the battle against Duncan. He's not a superstar no more, ok. But he did his job. He won the "battle" against Duncan and Garnett. So dont act like he's the shittiest PF in the league, cause it's a fact last year he has defeated both Garnett and Duncan. 10-20 years younger.
