Dre gives NIK answer on new Xzibit-CD
« on: October 03, 2002, 05:50:31 PM »
The multitalented superproducer Dr.Dre is featured on the new Xzibit-CD, entitled "Man vs. Machine", and he has quite some interesting things to say on the Internet-celebrity NIK, and statements NIK have made on a Internet-forum called DubCC.com
This is what Dre says on the track called "Symphony in X major":

Warning from the Surgeon General
Watch out for fake hits and bullshit that sounds identical
Pick it up, read the credits, who you thought it was?

Well, since u claim this topic was intended to be true, let me put u in check...The comments I made about Dre possibly ghost-producing "Multiply" and "Some of Em" were made AFTER "Symphony in X Major" was released...Damn, if u seriously thought Dre intended that line for me, when the song was recorded months ago, than u are truely an idiot...PeAce

Of course he didn't intend it for you.
But he speaks on the Dre-soundalikes, which you can't tell apart from Dre.
"Multiply" doesn't sound like Dre, it sounds like DENAUN.
Go listen to "Shit can happen" by D-12, and you'll hear the same style.
Dre also had nothing to do with "Some of em", though it sounds pretty Dre-ish.
Yet you try to dig your hole deeper with lame remarks like "he must have ghost-produced it" or "he did sumthin with that beat".
If you think Dre has sumthin to do with anything sounding like Dres style, then you truely are an idiot.
Even when 15 people prove you wrong, you still think you're right.
EVEN when the credits says it god damn it, you still think it's Dre, "it's just not listed" right?

I took the facts, put them together, and came with my own opinion...whatever though...It's a known fact Dre didn't get all the credit he deserved for some of the shit he's done in the past...Now when MTV lists Dre as the producer, and Xzibit shouts out "Dre, bring that shit back in one more time", than I think to myself, and I come with a Theory that Dre most likely handled some production on that song ("Multiply")...Especially when Dre is credited as a Mixer, and Dre is known to like everything to his perfection...Whatever, I'm done arguing this...it's my opinion...PeACe

Well I think that Dre should give others credit, considering that Daz and Warren G got no credit for the work they did on The Chronic and Doggystyle, and J-Flexx got no writing or producing credit from him either.

So DRE didnt do multiply, I kind of thought that.

After not seeing any of the credits, I already know that dre did symphony in X major but I am guessing that he also did.  LOOSIN YOUR MIND

Rick Rock did "Symphony In X Major."  Dre did "Loosin Your Mind" and "Choke Me, Spank Me."
