Mikah 9 "Timetable "
« on: September 18, 2002, 09:07:03 PM »
"A lot of people out there ain't knowing about Mikah 9 from Freestyle Fellowship. He got this album called Timetable (Kaihou),actually its not a new album, its a collection of unreleased, underground tracks going back some years.
This is a cat from South Central who's been exposed to the set-tripping,he got shot in the head and shit. But he's not doing crip hop or riding damu,he's on some next-level hip hop shit thats jazzy as fuck. Now,when we're talking next level, we're talking like the "kid" was ten years ahead of his time back in 1990. So people should be catching up right about now. Trust me,you dont want to battle this kid because you'll lose. He can freestyle like you ain't never heard. He just keeps
coming up with words, but he got crazy rhyme patterns too.
He makes it all flow. Mcs will want to study his style.
At one time he had a major label deal but  you can see why that shit never came out. This motherfucker is too raw.
Mikah 9 is underground because fools in the industry ain't ready for him to bubble on the mainstream level. They dont want the jazz scatting, the freestyling, the wicked lyrics, the artistic type of rap. Don't sleep on this cat,he's a hard-ass MC when he's on" (murder dog)

I suggest y'all to buy this album cuz its a great work!

I used to go see Mikah 9 spit at The Good Life bar in LA on Exposition And Crenshaw back in like 91 or 92.  Thursdays was open MIC NIGHT!
