At times like this I need a patriot pretzel, freedom fries, patriot punch and some freedom toast.

you cant fight terror cause it only gets worse when you bomb islamic countries. the most dangerous ppl are the ones with nothing to lose, and as long the western world takes and takes everything from the arab world, terror attacks will get harder and harder.

true but you can't just roll over either, people need to learn lessons from northern ireland etc.  we need to change our attitudes to middle east etc. whilst cracking down on terror we need give them less reason to instigate terror IMO giving israel a big kick up the back side etc

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?

After September 11th, the war should have been fought like this:

1) Do the Afghanistan thing, to make sure everyone knows countries that harbour terrorists are in for it.

2) Peace settlement in the Middle East.  Majority of Israeli's want it, but the problem is their political system means that the right can get in power by building coalitions with extreme right parties.  They should have given Sharon 2 months to do dismantle the settlements, then if he didn't the US should have withdrawn all economic and military aide to Israel, forcing the government to come crashing down and someone from the left to be elected.  At the same time the EU could have suspended all subsidies to the PLO until Arafat relinquished power or give enough of it to someone else for them to work with the Israelis.

3) As nobody wants nuclear weapons in terrorist hands, give a strong message to Iran, N.Korea and Iraq that they cannot build these weapons.  Send in inspectors where possible with the threat of force.  They got the first part right with Iraq but because of the interests of Halliburton etc. the US invaded.

This would have been the brave way to go about fighting terrorism.  Instead, the Bush administration took the cowardly route, sending young kids to die for oil, building contracts and personal vendettas.  They compromised the entire war on terror, and consequentially, have made the world and especially America less safe.

Oh and Trauma, you only pay lip service to your religion, when it comes to practicing it you come up short every time.  You encourage cycles of violence, which shows your redneck surroundings overtake any beliefs that you claim to have.  Turn the other cheek?  No fucking chance.  Coward.

The entire War on Terror is a joke. It is a completel fabrication.
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Yeah I agree with you.

We should of stopped supporting Israel and we should of let the country turn into a Palestine country full of terrorists that hate us. Real fucking smart ::)

Well the thing is, we did all that.

We have had UN weapons inspectors in Iraq back and fourth since 91. We have told N. Korea to withdraw their weapons program and to let the UN inspect it. But they didn't! Iran never let inspectors in also.

Yeah, America has been less safe since 9/11 ::)

1. 2/3rds of Al Qaeda is gone.
2. Saddam Hussein is out of power.
3. Kadafia withdrew his nuclear program in Libya after Saddam was captured.
4. Taliban is gone. Afghanistan is an ally.
5. We haven't had a terrorist attack since 9/11 in the US.

LMFAO at each and every one of you save 7even
yeah i guess muslims have to laugh at us because they sure can't beat us

1,000 US Soldiers Dead.  They didn't win anything.

And for those that believe in heaven and hell, people who steal (billions stolen through Iraqi oil revenue by foriegn companies) and kill for money (100,000 murdered by the US military in less than 4 years) are the ultimate losers in the hereafter.  Mercenary soldiers don't win anything.
