Terrible. All of em young people who sacrificed their lives for somethign that was not even a last resort.

this drill weekend we worked with a bunch of marines that are slated to go to iraq in jan... the average age was 20 out of 118 marines

they will be joining a unit that is replacing a battalion that has lost 20%  (roughly 100 people) of it's personel in iraq

with those odds... 22 of them will not make it out alive

one of them is already a war hero... he's 21 years old with the Silver Star medal with about 60 kills accumulated...this guy's story was amazing (he's a little loco now though)

anyways i have much respect for these brave men
