Does the coast really matter?

I was just asking myself...becuz West coast artist are always claimin West side on their songs but in my opinion its useless, see back in the days it was cool becuz there was that West VS East thing but now that this shit is done their r still over that ...U wont hear Nas or Jadakiss claimin east coast on every of their singles...and I think thats why they r not shining , just like guerilla black if there wasnt no compton song no one would wonder that he was from the west

when you're from tha west, you rep it to the fullest. Its something to be proud of dawg. :)

Well that's the difference between New York and LA. The west coast is heavily influenced by Gang culture. You gotta represent
