well, i can't narrow it down to 3, but if i just had to, i'd get 3 out of the maybe 20 and see that they're not too similar. like for example

Nas - Illmatic
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On

one out of many possible combinations

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.....

Bob Dylan - Greatest Hits 1 (good all around collection)
Public Enemy - Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back (Best Hip-Hop album ever....bar none)
Prince - Purple Rain (Just amazing)

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
