no way this tracklist is accurate.

what does that "a nasir jones production" mean? is he the executive producer? I mean he doesnt actually make beats or something lol.
or is this just random because it sounds cool?
nasir jones production proberly jus means hes overseeing the whole thing. Its his album an hes at a point in his career he can make the music he wants to make.  Plus executive producer dont mean shit.  On stillmatic the executive producer was his daughter lol.

yeah david banner's album says "Executive Producer: God"...i always wondered what the fuck that's supposed to mean anyways

and 7even, i thought he did the beat for, or at least co-produced the God's Son opener "Get Down"

and One Mic too i think...but at the same time that doesnt actually mean he did anything beat wise e.g. Jay-Z got a co-production credit for Threat cos he gave 9th Wonder the idea to use R Kelly's Womans Threat...

What a pretentious cover. Hope the album's good though.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

pretentious is a good word, but it is called "Street's Disciple" and i'm happy the "Nasir Of Nazareth" shit ain't on it (that was wack)...and while it might be pretentious, presumptuous and overall kinda cocky it is still well done (colors, the moment the picture captures etc)...at least that's what i think

Word, Nas took this god/jesus shit too far years ago, it seems to get even worse.
However, the cover is a lot better than that old cover they put up..

Not really anticipating this after hearing 4-5 tracks off if..  :(
Especially not after the reviews.. Salaam Remi is average, imo.

I've liked nearly everything that Salaam Remi has done for Nas, with the exception being "Zone Out". (i don't see how anybody could ride that beat).  I thought "Made you Look" was an incredible production.  As far as the album, i've been feenin for it for a while now, but i haven't heard but 2 songs. Have you read any reviews besides XXL? thats the only one i've read, and i thought it got a pretty good review.
