I was hoping to see more of his acceptance speech tonight, they only played up through him introducing his family... which was fine, because I like stuff like that, and his wife seems like a really great person, but he didn't get to actually say anything meaningful before they switched off of him.  Oh well, I'm sure I'll hear more about him in his position in the senate.

Don't be surprised IF he appears on the Democratic Ticket for 2008. As the Vice President (Ofcourse).

chris rock said there would never be a black vice president.... because he would kill the president himself and make it so that the vice president becomes president

i thikn this guy has a great career ahead of him, but he is way to young to running for vp.  I'm not sure how much pull he even has at his own level right now

2008.....no way. Well he might try to run, but im referring that he wont win. He needs to spend more time at his position and work his way up.

john edwards ran that quickly.  he won't be the vp candidate in 2008 because hillary is going to run and she's serious about winning.  the only way hillary would chose obama as her vp is if condi somehow was the vp candidate on the republican ticket.

I think it will simply because the Dem's have to PROVE to America that they are the regular guy's party. Republicans are for racist people and rednecks. While the Dem's will go for liberals. middle people and people of color. And what they will say is that See we have a woman and a blackman running on our party ticket.
