A lost soul looking out of the shadows, looking for the light//
Out of the depths of what is hidden, trying to find my sight//
Living in the present but it feels like the past, a warrior born to fight//
Native Child learned his past form the teacher but, Can they be right//
Native Americans were savages to the Pilgrams of the Mayflower, is what was told//
But we were helpless against what they brought, I belive that from the Elders the old//
My people defended their land and Family, but our ways were taken from bought and sold//
So now I speak for what I know, your ways can hit and stab but I'll never fold//
The land was destroy'd for building and English settlements, With no choice we were removed//
I pray to the star that my children live a better life. I hope their customs are never moved//
Whites with their guns thinkin they rule, but learned everything from us so they improved//
Stop my people from growing and becoming stornger, thats one thing I disapprove//
Stories told of my people killing and scalping whites for trophies, a battle is ready to start//
Moved and beating to a place called the REZ, so now to my people we're fallen apart//
A surpressed nation, with many unfinshed battles, only way to win is to have the smarts//
Not many are motovatived, But there are a few that will stand tall and Speak with nuttin but HEART//
