As far as I know, it's the producer's responsibility to clear the samples, not the exec. producer, correct me if I'm wrong..
They will never get more than 2P is they ever win that lawsuit.

Its quiks fault for makin it. But dre should of thought this over. Hes gettin sued cause truths on HIS label, am i right? Quik made it and then It was up to dre on what was gonna end up on the final cut. Like i said its BOTH of their fault. You cant just blame one of them.

Everyone likes to abuse the legal system these days

& too think that some these cases even make it to court

Sure I understand there right to sue, but $500,000,000 is utterly redicolous. I doubt the single & album has even made that much profit heck i'd be willing to say that it would have been lucky to make 3% of that

Besides that, Dre, Quik & Truth had already stated many times that they tried to find out who the artist was & award them a fee for sampling the song, but could not find her, & therefore thought that when she came forward they could give her the $.

I hate people who make these claims, & the lawyers who try to put these suits forward. If a judge awards this artist more than a few million for this case I reckon yall over there have a case to cause a riot to celebrate the LA riots 10 years ago.

Even if Dre lost this case he wouldn't have to pay anything to them. These big labels have insurance that covers that kinda shit, they even provide the legal team to fight it..

Dre bought the beat from Quik....It's his responsibility to make sure the paper-work is proper.....He knew the clearance wasn't there and used it anyway....

Why would Dre get sued? If anyone gets sued, it's Interscope or DJ Quik...Plus 500 Million sounds ubserd...I think this news is fake as fuck...Just look at all the spelling/grammer errors...If this is real news, than the reporter deserves to get sued for all her errors...PeACE
