hehe, I knew you would be pissed off on this one.
I never really liked more than a few Quik-productions, because most of them really bore me.
And nah: Dre isn't simple, just ask anybody who knows producing.

We all have different opinions. No one is right. But we are different. As much as i disagree with you jome, I respect your opinion.

Dre is better hands down.He has the experience and the know whow, just listen to his music.Quicks beats are more grimy and dirty where as Dre's are more clear and have a better sound to them.Just listen to 2001 at how its mixed and how it flows, man aint nobody fuckin wit Dre PERIOD!!Oh and by the way just listen to that reack he did for Eve on her new album, its called"What",That shit is tight as fuck,he should of saved it for himself in my opinion.Well Dre is better in my opinion and in america everyone has there opinions.

Dre. Like I said in the other thread Dre has a bigger and better back catalogue beatwise than any other producer in hip-hop, imo. Quik is dope as hell, in my top 3, but Dre is amazing when he's at his best. It's only natural that Dre's gonna have a dry spot, all producers do, but I guarentee when "Detox" drops everyone will change their opinion's of him again, thats how much faith I have in Dre as a producer. This happened when he left DR, everyone was bored with him, doubting him, then BLAW! he comes with "2001" and the shit he did for Eminem, changing the game yet again and coming with a signiture sound that started alot of trends.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I know I don't have the same opinion as everyone else, but to me Quik has never made a bad track. I've heard alot of shit from him...I've heard mostly all of the beats that he has done for the Kompton Krew and all of his albums and I can't find something that I just can't listen too. All of it is tight to me.

As far a the simplicity of Dre...all he does is lay tracks on top of each other. Quik will freestyle with instruments more often...which is more complex. Dre lays it down and loops it while Quik makes 10 different points in a song using the same instrument sound totally different. He also uses more sounds at the same time when compared to Dre. Dre may use three different sounds, while Quik if you listen close enough is using like 6 or 7. They are two different styles, both tight, but Quik is definitely more complex.

Dre is also very arrogant. Quik has said that Dre inspired him, but even if Quik did inspire Dre...Dre is the type who wouldn't give credit anyway. His attitude seems kind of foul to me...

I KNOW! Thats what i love bout quik. He just throws in so many different sounds in a song. I just love his fonky style and thenhe switches it up so fast. You cannot say quik is unoriginal. And I dont know why people didnt like Under Tha influence, It was still a step above teh rest. But yeah, Dre always makes my head bob but i cant say he is as musical as quik. Drum, bass, those backround sounds he always uses and some flutes or a couple different sounds is what makes a dre beat. Im still struggling to figure out what makes dre better. I dunno man. I just think Quik is a musical genious. Just listen to his quiks grooves. THAT IS MUSIC! I dont think dre can do what quik does with a quis groove. Listen to the one on balnce and options and tell me quik is not better.

How do u know that shit man?

don't say just something u THINK

Remember what The D.O.C. said?

Never could people like Daz & Mel-Man give Dre back what he gave 'em by teachg them and many artists (not only producers) that worked with Dre said it was interesting and very inspiring to see him working plus most Aftermath artists said it's like a family over there.
