Look's like Aftermath still has more to prove....ImO

LL Cool J (vs) Rakim
Jay-Z (vs) Dr Dre
Beanie Sigel (vs) Obie Trice
DmX (vs) Xzibit
Ja Rule (vs) 50 Cent
Foxy Brown (vs) Shaunta
Noreaga (vs) ?
CNN (vs) ?
Wc (vs) Ice Cube
Redman (vs) Eminem
Keith Murray (Vs) ?

ect.......That's not including the rapper's that make up each individual sub-Label (Such as Freeway & Memphis Bleek or Cadillac Tah)

Those names right there can more than hold their own weight with all the names on Aftermath. (Except for Cube....who in my eyes is the greatest thing ever outta anywhere)
I'll buy them all so I could give 2 fuck's....But the label slobbing is getting boring.
Aftermath is good....But the best, not quite yet.
ImO

Peace

LL vs. Rakim is a joke and so is Jay-Z vs. Dre and DMX vs. Xzibit.
50 Cent is for shure betta than Ja Rle who wants to end his career anyway and Redman can lyrics wise and sale wise not step up to Em.

Cube and WC are both great but Cube's stil betta and he's a legend unlike WC.

And u put peoples on that list that ain't al on the same label.

DMX is RR and Jay-Z Roccafella since Aftermath ain't = Interscope neither.

WC has had 3 cds and 1 comin out that i know of. And lets not forget his work with low pro. Trust me he is just as much of a legand as Cube. Hes an underground legand.

Cube's ole school shit is unbeaten in my opinion plus he was member of N.W.A..
He's more of a legend than WC.

First of all I forgot that WC actully had 4 albums including westside connection.

Ice Cube is a huge legand in rap but I wouldnt say more than WC. Id put them in the same legand catagory. Trust me. WC is a LEGAND!

Aftermath ain't Def Jam yet. That's a goal. And Ras Kass being the next 'Pac, maybe I was misunderstood, 'cause there never be another 'Pac, but Ras Kass could be the next biggest name in the game. Eminem is huge, but on a hip-hop level, Ras Kass could be bigger. Though 'Pac might have overstated a bit.

First of all.  You can't really compare Def Jam and Aftermath.  Def Jam is a different type of label.  It all branches out.  You gotta compare like Roc-a-fella to Aftermath.  But not The whole Island Def Jam to just Aftermath.

Isn't Shady Rec. a branch of Aftermath? I guess my comparison is justified. To some extent you're right tho.....

P.S. Murder Inc/Rocafella are bigger than Aftermath  :-/ :-/

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

dre-his label
rakim-maybee best lyrisict of all time
cube-westcoast legend
eminem-ill emcee biggest rap sales ever
truth hurts- their r&b bitch

could be---

xzibit-basically is on the label but has gone plat and is tight
knoc-great charisma could really blow up
ras kass-dre could do wonders with him he could be the star here

if they had these cats and actually got an album out every 6 months they would be dominate every album plat, and with the production of dre melman its over.............i ain't even a aftermath fan but damn that would be a line up
