Author Topic: Liberal, "Blue States", who care about the poor... DON'T donate to charity. LOL  (Read 202 times)

EXPOSED.  Liberals claim to be all for the poor man, but yet, statistically, it's the RED states, the CONSERVATIVE states, who donate to Charities.  Why is that?  I thought Republicans were all evil people bent on making the rich richer and stomping on the poor.  Why aren't the liberals more charitable? ... because it's all a big fucking lie, like most liberal bullshit.

http://www.catalogueforphilanthropy.org/cfp/db/generosity.php?year=2004

These fine folks have averaged the average income of a particular state, and then averaged the average amount given, per person, of a particular state, and then ranked the states in order, by comparing the two numbers (have rank, and give rank).  The first 25 states are all red.  LOL

Mississippi again tops the list, although it is without a doubt the poorest state (on average) in the union.  The poorest state gives more, per person, than 45 other American states, thereby ranking itself first as a percentage of their average income.

As a matter of fact, if you look over the list, you see an obvious, undenyable trend: Poor, "Red" states, whom are referred to as 'flyover country" or "Hicks" by the elitist liberals on this board, donate FAR MORE than their 'blue' state counterparts, who proclaim themselves champions of the poor man.  Connecticut, the richest state in the union, gives the 26th largest amount of money per citizen, making it comparatively 44th on the list.  Disgraceful.

Since those charities would include donations to churches, I understand these bible thumpers emptying their pockets for some strong strength in the church... since the church (Evangelical) is who influences Bush's stance on some issues.... Bush pushes their agenda, he gets their vote + that campaign (charity/donation) money

i don't think bush has anything to do with charity. the poor states are spending money on the poor because they're poor. also republicans are econimists and really care about the economy

I don't know which post you're reading, but the 1 post I made in this thread says nothing of that sort. If you're just making up shit in your narrow mind in order to make some sort of stupid point, then go for it. All I said is point out what type of "charities" these were going to, and why the people in the  HICK/MORMON (sibling-fucker states) were willing to dish out their money. Charity is good...nobody said it wasn't. If I were some hypocritical hick or Mormon and wanted to fuck/marry my sister, but found it wrong that gay people got married, I would donate some money to the Evangelical church as well. Whatever floats your guys' boats... (try not to think of your mom or sister here, Mormon)

It must infuriate you that you try so hard to push my buttons, but I just SMiLE and don't even acknowledge them!

BTW, nice excuse.  So, blue states don't give to charity....... and you try to make excuses for it.  Any way you look at it, that's not good news for the Democratic party, who pride themselves on being for the poor man... but yet are all talk, and won't open THEIR wallets, they just want to make everybody donate, by raising taxes and funding social programs.  LOL

Bullshit conservatice propaganda.

Couldnt have said it better myself.

The following are the only things that conservative Republicans are good at:

lying, lying, and more lying

stealing from the poor to give to the rich (what an original concept!)

forcing their moral values (as if someone like me gives TWO FUCKS about moral values. I listen to rap music, have tattoos, and watch porn and love pre-marital sex....moral values aint exactly up high on my list of priorities, lol) on everyone else

and thats about it. Basically, they're all useless ignoramuses as far as im concerned.

Since those charities would include donations to churches, I understand these bible thumpers emptying their pockets for some strong strength in the church...

Community of Christ Church Gets $40M Gift
INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - An anonymous family has given the Community of Christ $40 million, a donation that exceeds the church's annual operating budget by about a third.

The Independence-based church, formerly known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, announced the gift in the January issue of its magazine.

Church spokeswoman Linda Booth said officials had known about the pending gift for about 18 months, well before a recent article appeared in the magazine discussing financial concerns facing the 250,000-member church, due in part to a decline in tithes.

Booth interviewed the donors for the magazine, and one described advice given to him by his father.

"He'd say: 'If you've got money in your pocket that you're not using and you find someone who needs it, give it to them. If you keep that money, it would be like having a stone in your pocket for all the good it does,'" she said.

The Community of Christ traces its origin to Joseph Smith, who organized the Mormon church in 1830. The Community of Christ split from the Utah-based Mormon church, formally known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in 1860 and changed its name in 2001.
