I wrote this song along time ago when life was down. I rewrote it resently, and this is the final version. Let me know what you think.

Darkness over shadows my day, lost everything but my sense of pain/
Depression settled in at a young age, as I fight the day living in rage/
Fuck it, my life is very real, the will to live killed how I feel/
Like a pain killer you can't see the pill, survival skills taught my hopw to heal/
Still I'm like Biggie Ready to Die, Fuck the world I want to the skiy/
No suicide 'cause then I'd fry, so on my life I ask God why/
Why am I always on the run, why must I never have no funds/
Why do I have the urg to get drunk, why is it tomorrow always comes/

God made a surviver mom raised a soldier, 'cause both knew the pain when I get older/
I got the cold shoulder so I got colder, as I got older I wanna start over/
Fuck it, I survived too long to fall back, got back on track to make up the slack/
Whatever I lack I gotta move on, Pray to God to carry me along/
Gotta be strong to live day to day, as a kid I never played so childhood stayed/
Second childhood gives me a new day, in a way survival becomes the game/
In my search for fame I can do it again, play to win and avoid sin/
The sinning is done and there's a new sun, it's a new day 'cause tomorrow always comes/

You see we always outlast, even though people around us die fast/
Some numb the pain by smoking grass, others indulge with sex and ass/
We can't see tomorrow so we live for today, we live each day like we have no say/
Tomorrow still comes after night gives way, if we survive now we get a new day/
Darkness can't stay so we have to pray, for another chance to change our ways/
And to gain a new lease on life, with a second chance to make things right/
First weather the storm and let it be done, put faith in God and don't ever run/
With his love we need no funds, he'll handle today 'cause tomorrow always comes/
