Im a huge Dre fan and I like his beats but damn hes been dropping the ball lately.Hell it seems as if the only person they take serious is Eminem.Hell, aftermath is behind him 100%.Im not expecting Detox until 2005,Dre is way to slow.I think its strange because hes in the studio five days a week from early afternoon untiul sunrise,so god damn.It kind of makes you wonder what in the hell hes doing in there.Oh well I dont know about  you but I have given up on Rakim's album as far as Im concerned it will never come out.By the looks of things im probably right.I mean the handwriting is is on the walls isnt it.he signed Rakim in laate 2000 and here it is almost 2003 and no album.Come on now Dre.Thats fucking ridiculous

Dre gets shit perfect thats why is takes him a while to get shit done.  He has this new sound now remember with 4 speakers, like a rotational sound so he wants to make a bomb ass album so people wont be waisting there money if they buy the system and the album.  Fucks sake.

I don't like Dre that that much but he's capable of making this album a true classic.

P.S. It will drop

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Dre seems to have entered his lazy cycle.. a lot like he did after Doggystyle and before Chronic 2001... where he produced what... maybe 15 songs that actually got released... he's notorious for sitting on dope aftermath artists... Last Emperor, Eve (who i dislike but she would've blown up for him), Royce, Knoc, Hittman.... whatever happened to cats like Shareif, Nationowl, Miscellaneous, etc from the original Aftermath comp... what about Stu-B-Doo and Chris "The Glove" Lighty... where've they been?  I dunno... it seems like a lot of cats get buried at Aftermath.

He better not bury Ra's album, there's no excuse for that.

Dre's flaw is that he is a perfectionist, he wants the shit to be perfect, you all have heard of all the beats he makes just for one album

Rakim will drop but not so soon and definitely not this year(even though we would all love that) remember what he did to King T ??? ??? ??? he did it cause he thought he wouldn't sell and shit but now this is Rakim the God we are talking about. He gets respect everywhere, he will drop eventually and it will be one dope ass album

Don't stress. Dre and co tell u this shit but what they do is different. Dre's been working on detox for about a year. These albums will come out and they will be off the swizzerve.

We need A mellow-man update.  If only 2 tracks are done then thats fucked up, and I feel sorry for all these aftermath artists that seem to be getting no where fast, but as long as they can walk around and say I work with dre, and they get a fat ass pay check I am sure they aint no assed.

Dre only layed out the blueprint for "Detox" earlier this year.  He and Mel have will begin doing some serious work for the album in a few months.  He still has to deal with Rakim.  I'd say look for "Detox" in a year...year and a half.  Gotta give it some more space between "2001."
