STYLES - The Man Behind Dangerous LLC

It’s a cold and windy late Tuesday night in NYC. While most New Yorkers lay snug in their beds attempting to get a little shut eye, producer Styles starts his own heat on the boards in the midnight hours at the world renowned Hit Factory.

“For 2005, all I’m really hoping for is a lot of success,” explained the beat maker during a break from one of his many sessions. “I’m just happy to be working and proud of the success I’ve received so far, and I’m just going to continue going hard with it.”

And success should be a mere understatement. For a virtually new cat in the game, Brooklyn-bred Styles has already worked with the likes of G-Unit, Christina Aguelira and Missy Elliot to name a few. His current work – such as the club hit ‘Disco Inferno’ by 50 Cent and ‘My Hood’ off of Fabulous’ latest album – solidifies this producer as the man with the natural knack for musical genius. Couple this talent with a hardcore work ethic and you’ve got one of the most sought after men in the industry.

“Whenever I make a beat cd, I take out the ones I think should be specifically for 50,” he said of the G-Unit ring leader who is preparing to release a new LP in February. “I hit him with like 20, 30 joints a week . . . I’m confident that I’ll land at least 1 or 2 more on his album.”

In addition to his work with 50, Styles recently finished up a single with Baby from Cash Money and Lil’ Mo, another one with Babs of Da Band teaming up with long lost Jimmy Cozier, and of course 5 tracks for Olivia – the newest and only female member of G-Unit. And as if that weren’t enough, Styles focuses much time and energy on his own artist who recently signed to Atlantic Records – R&B songstress Deemi. Finalizing her first single with Fabulous, another single with Remi Martin and a potential third track with Talib Kweli, Styles keep the hits coming.

“I’m just working right now,” he said as a choir anxiously awaited his return into the studio booth. “I have a song deal with Universal through Sylvia Rhone, and she has me working on Free’s (from BET) project. Then there’s Yayo’s album coming, Olivia’s, 50’s, all of G-Unit. I’m just happy to be working. See there are a lot of ups and downs in this business, but if you just stay persistent and keep hitting them hard, you can definitely achieve your dreams.”

And who better to share words of wisdom, then the Brooklyn kid who just garnered his own studio in the Hit Factory. And this, my friends …. is only the beginning . . .

Hittman is not a real person. He was a computer program generated by Dr. Dre and Mel Man back in the mid 90's. When Dre started treating Mel-Man like shit, Mel infiltrated the computer and put a virus in the hittman program
