i got a cd writer n i wanna coopy the cd to my hd then to back onto a blac cd but when i tried i wouldn't accept the cd how do i get the hidden files off the cd onto my hd so it will work

Try downloading RecordNow 7.0 software off of hewlittpackard's site www.hp.com I've also got a single device (my CD-ROM and CD-Writer is the same unit), and that HP software is the only one that I've found that works with it. And you don't have to have an HP burner--mine is not. When you put the disc you want to copy in, it will scan it first, then ask for the blank. It temporarly stores it on your hard drive until you are done copying the disc, then it is automatically deleted. Hope that helps.
