Why isn't Ice cube considered maybe the best rapper ever???

but if you were not around to see the Cube day's (in his prime) 1988-1995
it's hard to argue that his style did not birth more than 1/2 of your current favorites
Bottom line is Cube, has already trancended hip-hop and has become a Superstar.

I'd compare his first solo albums with any rapper'shit

of course rapper's or people in general become unfocused in their craft
when their life changes, because different situations open up, new chalenges & doors.
but at any moment please belive Cube can still blaze the mic...
I dare anybody to listen to those albums I posted above and check Cubes flow's..
each one of those lp's has a different feel to em'
you can actually hear his progression as a bonified star.

in my eyes Cube is on a different level than most mentioned.
I know Cube still has another classic in him....

now post 1994, nothing classic, though Westside Connection - Bow Down is near classic. Cube is still one of the greatest of all times, and I got pissed as hell when people don't even put him on the top 10. For reals, he was the first man to rule both coast, have the mainstream world in a choke hold and he even destroyed the World's Most Dangerous Group in one song, after he helped make that group what it was. You are talking about a man that had America by the balls, Ice Cube was the man. Fuck those that disagree with that. Top 5 of all time, no questions should be asked.

/\/\ No doubt, Cube was literally running rap music in the early 90's. He was huge, you had to have been there. I was in high school when Amerikkka's Most, Death Certificate and Predator dropped and he was absolutely huge back then, he was like a superhero or something. I'm not exaggerating.

ice cube is and always will be in my top list because of what he has done, what he achieved for other artists and the industry...and how he did it
