i was wondering about the nike thing too. there are references to nike in nearly all the stuff released so far (air force ones, air max and nike in general) and unsurprisingly in the new stuff on the album too. he's also wearing converse on the album cover (now owned by nike).

DJ Quiks Track didnt make it then? Would of liked to have that proper westcoast shit on it then say Timbalands weak beat. Kanye West, Just Blaze songs were alright but if Dre was gonna hand out spaces and money to producers out of aftermath he should of let the likes of Fredwreck drop some ill westcoast sounds. Was hoping for an unreleased Eazy E verse or an appearance from Ice Cube but never mind.

The lps alright but not the classic we were gunning for. Seems like too many 'yes men' at Aftermath now since ems average last album and now this.

Nice to see Scott Storch back on the fold but where 'o' where is Mel-Man?

personally, i can't stand those r&b influenced tracks. i know game has to appeal to the radio/mainstream to reach a wider audience and all that, but songs like runnin' or the havoc produced dont' need your love would be much better without those corny singers.

the production is quite good (with the exception of the two just blaze beats), although there aren't as many dre tracks as game promised in interviews.

imo the highlights are:
- higher (we knew that one already)
- dreams (dope choice for a second single, but please make higher the third one!)
- hate it or love it (surprisingly, 50 steals the show on this track)
- the documentary (great beat! who's that guy jeff bhasker?)

it's a nice album, but it could have been a lot better. the mainstream should love it, though.

im pretty impressed with the album overall...apart from the blatant product placement throughout pretty much each track, and the second Just Blaze track (shit just sounds messy to me), and 1 or 2 others, its a pretty solid album...

im thinking it'll be pretty well recieved and should shift a few units...
