Yeah, well now that Overseer said that.  You'd go with that, duh.  If he didn't make that post your ass would of come up with the translation of "NIK is the dopest rapper alive."

yah, NIK is wrong.
Kurupt DOES make up a bunch of words that rhyme just because they DO rhyme, without any reason.

"The tactical acrobatical automatic
Automatically psychosomatics that got it verbally guided"

I'm even Norwegian, and I can tell you that this doesn't mean anything else than "pointless showoff".

or even:

"Psychosomatic, automatic static
Catatonic, supersonic, bubonic chronic addict"

or

"Shut the fuck up bitch,
Eat a dick bitch,
Eat a bowl of shit bitch,
Munch on a mouthful of balls, in halls and malls
Just shut the fuck up bitch and work your jaws.
Take a pill bitch, chill bitch."

Is that some of the "amazing" lyrics yall were talking about?

personally I prefer Streetz,

BUT

If it came down to choosing a better overall album i would go wid 2001. Even though i don't own 2001 because i don't like it to that extent to buy it or download it it is a classic in my opinion because 'it gets stuck in your head'. Thats how you single out a classic in my opinion.

It has to be liked, BUT it also has to be the kind of thing you'd hear when you're asleeep and you'd know exactly who it is and what song it is.

However, Dre's not my thing nowdays, i stopped following all Deathrow Memebers except Daz Dillinger. I can listent to Kurupt now and then but the only DR artist i support is Daz.

Peace!

As I said in my review of Streetz Iz A Mutha I do believe that it is better than 2001. The main reason for this is that I actually thought that for all the people saying that 2001 was groundbreaking I actually just saw it as tight spaced out production with a lot of average rappers making appearances on the album. The fact of the matter is that basically after Next Episode there r no really tight tracks, and some of the others that people call classic tracks such as Forgot About Dre r just average. People were saying that Dre was setting a path for a whole new group of west coast rappers, well he certainly didn't show that with the singles released from the album. Damn I haven't heard of Snoop Dogg or Eminem before, and who's this Nate Dogg it's not like he's on every other hook on the radio that the Neptunes aren't on. The album was really just a compilation with Dre's name on it, and became totally overcrowded with all the guest appearances.

Streetz Iz A Mutha however featured tight production all the way through thanks to Daz, Soopafly and co, and lyrically was far beyond 2001, check out Step Up, Trylogy or Loose Cannons and try to tell me that Kurupt and his guests r not better lyrically than Dre and his guests on 2001. I can easily listen to Streetz all the way through from start to finish and enjoy all of it, whereas with 2001 I always get bored half way through and find that a lot of the songs just drag on way too long to be enjoyable.

To me 2001 is never a classic, it gets nowhere near The Chronic, and although I don't think that Streetz is a classic it is certainly much closer to being classic than 2001 which really was an over hyped above average album. As far as ratings I would give:

Streetz Iz A Mutha - 9/10
2001 - 7/10

No i'm not crazy, that is my honest opinion of 2001, I hardly ever listen to it any more because it does just bore me. I'm not going to rate it any higher just because it's Dre, because both I and everybody else know that if this was a soundtrack or a compilation instead of pretending to be a Dre album then you all wouldn't have rated it as highely as you actually did. I still own 2001 because there are some classic joints on there, but only for them because 3/4 of the album is just above average.
