Bush's Budget to Lower US deficit
« on: February 07, 2005, 11:50:45 AM »
Do u think he has his priorities right?

positives:
cutting farming subsidies

negatives:
5% increase in military spending (excluding opporations in Iraq and Afganistan, for which an extra $80billion is likely to be asked for)
cuts to healthcare (didn't bush pledge to improve healthcare in his election campaign?)
cuts in education
cuts for the enviroment programs
$4.5 trillion needed for social security reform left out of the budget

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?

I haven't reviewed the budget yet, but I do agree with cutting farming subsidies.

Bush is seriously fucking up the American economy.
$ is considered monopoly money now, it's that weak.
£, Yen and €uro is taking over more and more..
