Man that's a good one!!! Chuck had skillz, I miss those days. remember when Hip hop was like 31 flavors? when u had various types pf Hip hop and no one was saying the same thing?

I remember those days fondly. Chuck D was what got me into hip hop, as far as being passionate about the art form. Before that I was just a casual listener but when Chuck D yelled "Brothas gonna work it out" that changed my life right there.

Don't know if these would be the five greatest, but my five favorite MCs are probably the D.O.C., 2Pac, Rakim, Eminem, and Chali 2na.

i didnt grow up listening to run dmc or slick rick so those folks are out of my list with no disrespect 1. eminem

               3.nas
               4.project pat
               5. mexican pit boss Mr. Shadow

those are my choices the first time i ever got into rap was when i heard a mixtape and it had some nwa song and a bunch or other shti like dre day(from the chronic album) and tha is when i got into it shit im only 21 so thats that.

I didnt grow up listening to anybody on my list, or anybody else lists for that matter.  I got into rap back in 98`when my brother bought Rythm-al-ism, and I was hooked, and i just 8 years old, im 14 now.

Just because you didnt grow up listening to Run DMC or slick rick doent mean they cant be on your list.
