The Demise of Rocafella
« on: February 18, 2005, 07:00:39 AM »
Now that Jay has "retired" who is goin to step up from the ROC camp? will it be someone from within or a new artist about to come up?

I can't see any outstanding commercial talent in ROC apart from Kanye and to be honest he's a better producer than rapper.

I always heard rumors that Jay-Z dissaproved of Damon Dash going out and signing Camron,M.O.P.,and the late O.D.B.
That's why i'm guessing Jay-Z announced his "Retirement" and ends up heading the Def Jam label and still pumping out hits.

It'll probably be Kanye or maybe a newly signed artist they'll push a lot ;)
