THE GENERAL'S LIST
« on: August 20, 2002, 07:21:23 AM »
JUST COPPED "THE GENERAL'S LIST" FROM CIRCUIT CITY.  IT IS SICC. "I CAN MAKE YOU DANCE" BY TRAY DEEE AND BIG ROCC IS INSANE.  I WAS DEFINITELY FEELIN' THE WHOLE ALBUM, EVEN THE INTRO WAS TIGHT. IF YOU DO ONE THING TODAY 8/20/2002 MAKE SURE YOU COP "THE GENERAL'S LIST". YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. ;D

Where do you stay that you've already had it for a month?  Over here in Florida it's kind of difficult to get ahold of west coast music muchless to get ahold of it early

they are talking about the struggles of life and how the government is fucked up.  And how blacks have been treated bad.

a line of the chorus goes:

Hell yeah they'll send ya to war, but mutha fuckas won't defend you in court.

such a true line.

I got my copy today, and I heard it for the first time and I gots to say that Im really feelin it.  I can make you dance, Clap Yo handz and Izuwitit are my favorites....Tray dEEE comes off dope on every song. And even the pics are funny, in the insert he's dressed like a og General, pointin with his finger at the camera like tha baddest teacher on planet earth, LooooL. it has an ad for his solo album SIN CITY droppin in fall 2002, the 4Life Records album and the Cali Swanin Single..And Sheeit, in the thank you's he wrote "Thanks to Dave The Graffick Mack for the dopest album cover out the West Coast".....hahaha, i was fallin off my chair when I read this...he must be jokin about the album cover...

but yeah, get this album, definitely worth the money, Oh yea...get this instead of the new Luniz ....sheit, that SIlver & Black CD is FUCKIN TRASH. I dont know how they could release sucha crap album. I received my copy today, I gave em  a check and bought it without peepin it, that was a big mistake and waste of money, theres not one (1) good song on there

Word!!!

Thanx for the lookout homie...
I was just bout to drop 5 x 3 on it....lol

Yeah the Tray Deee was bangin' when I copped mine a couple week's ago and it's still bangin'...(Yo why did it get released early in some places...?)
I recomend it, A tight compilation full of Gangsta Gangtsta ish...Westcoast style.
Tray Dee is in the majority of the cd.....but not all of it.
it's not a solo cd, but like the homie stated above there is an ad is in the cd temptin' us again.

P.s.
Yo am I the only one who thought tha cover was Dope!!

Oh yea...Target definitely comes strong when it comes to new rap releases.  That's where I bought my Trick Daddy "Thug Holiday"  They had the PA version cheaper than Best Buy and Circuit City.  Where else can you buy good music, a 2 liter of Pepsi, and some toilet paper in one place. Peaceeeeeeee!!
