Question bout music on a Cd-R

Would anybody out there know why this might happen. I got a cd that plays just fine in my car's cd player but when I play it my computer cd-rom the music comes with alot of static . Any thoughts anyone??

AKA "Copy protected"..
Some types of copy protection produce noise when inserted to your PC, so that you won't be able to rip it, listen to it on the PC, or other "illegal" stuff.

Maybe this is your prob. Some drives don't work well with certain CD-R's. Try another typ of CD'r, for example there are Cd'r with a green or blue downside. Try another colour or another name.

O for real i never knew that  just thought there was black n the champange color one. i got to try that out thx

well...yeah, but i just thought it was odd to refer to the light-green (i assume) cd-r's as being champagne-colored.
to each his own, tho

if its a cd-r then try burning at a lower speed

I guess it woyld be better just toby a whole new cd-rom drive cuz if id have to burn at a slower rate on this on man....it be forever

you can pick up cd burners for next to nothing now anyways, maybe you should upgrade to a dvd burner, they're pretty cheap now too
