Foxy Brown Upset With Legendary Recording Studio

Attorneys for Foxy Brown are considering a lawsuit against John King, owner of Chung King Studios, for alleged defamation of character.

According to the Lowdown section of the New York Daily News, Brown is upset with reports that she was thrown out of the studio after a dispute over her master recordings.

Police were called to remove Brown from the famed recording studio after she allegedly refused to leave.

A spokesperson for Def Jam confirmed that Brown was upset, due to security issues concerning her master recordings.

Brown believes that Chung King Studios was responsible for leaking her unreleased album Ill Na Na 2: The Fever on the internet.

Sources stated that Brown also blamed the studio for leaking new tracks from her upcoming album titled Black Roses on the net.

Reports suggested that a financial dispute motivated King to hold on to the masters. King said that it was standard procedure to hold on to the masters until the studio was compensated.

"Artists are never able to leave the studio with their master recordings without the studio being fully compensated,” Brown said. "Let's just say that I've retained all of my masters."
