I was quoted $160 for each strut (2), I also need a Sway Bar Link Kit (quoted $125) and Lower/Upper Ball Joints quoted $175 each (2)   :P
Fucka suspension system.

Just be a man and do it yourself.  How hard is it? You just look at how it's set up, take it apart, put the new one on, you're done.  I've done shit like that dozens of times.  My brother and I have rebulit entire fucking engines with no experience before, just look at it, take it apart, then put it back together with new stuff.  Do you honestly think your average mechanic is smarter than you are? Dude you can do it, get at it!

the main problem is compressing the springs..

its not expensive to pay someone to do it at all.

Yeah I hear you but they do have experience especially the 50 year old Vietnamese dude  :D
The most I have done is changing oils, filters, brake pads and replaced a door window  :D

Thanks that is what I'll do  ;) the installation look simple if it's like that Volvo slideshow.

I was only worried about the spring killing me  ;D

Go to AutoZone, they let you borrow tools for free.  Borrow some spring compressors, no big deal.  Of course if you fuck up, the spring will kill you, and fly through the fender of your car, leaving a nice 12" round hole, but besides that it's a breeze.

so what will this do to the car? replace the current suspension, nothing more? will it lower it? BTW how to u fit hydraulics to a car, and does it have to be a specific model to do so?

Yep most of the parts that need replacing...to lower your car you would need to install shorter springs or the cut the spring you do have.

Hydraulics? You mean air bags suspension  :D

Hydraulics are used for lowriders etc...

Air bags are for any cars but it doesn't hop or bounce like hydraulics.
It's more like those new buses that lower for handicap people  :D
