Publicity is good, but they have to release good albums.  They haven't dropped any new albums in what seems like years, besides Too Gangsta For Radio, which didn't sell at all.  In any event, if they get big off of beef, it will bring Snoop and the rest of the west coast more attention.

Ain't no return of the row ever.  Death Row is gone and dead.  I ain't hating either, that is my favorite label ever, but it ain't ever gonna be like it was.  Only thing that is the same is Suge.  Tha Row is wack now, when was the last album put out by an artist signed after 95?  If tha row gets big its just gonna be some bullshit label like murder inc, or some other gay ass shit.  Only way the Row will ever be back is if suge gets killed and Snoop, daz, dre, lady of rage, rbx, soopafly, etc. go back to it.

They wouldn't go back but perhaps Suge will really get killed since so many people hate him.

Let me throw my two cents in.

Tha Row will never be what it once was because what it stands for now isn't what made it great.

When Dre came out with The Chronic, it was unlike anything hip-hop had heard. I still remember hearing the album's intro for the first time, and when it ran into Dre Day thinking "Nobody's done it like this before."

Same with Snoop. No one had done gangsta rap with that level of charisma, and the ability to make feel-good songs that the hood and the burbs could love.

Then the label rode the hype with classic albums like Above The Rim and Dogg Food, and then cemented everything that came before by signing Pac.

But what since then? Suge had no right to call that compilation Chronic 2000 - Dre's Chronic changed the way the music sounded. Chronic 2000 didn't change shit.

Perhaps Crooked I, NINA or the Murder Inc hook-up will help the label get a buzz, and maybe kids who weren't listening ten years ago will think Tha Row is the new hot clique. But anyone whose perception of hip-hop was changed by The Chronic and Doggystyle must know that Suge Knight can never have a hand in changing the game like that again.

The Row at this point in time is finished. Until the Crooked I album drops, i dont think anyone can really say what the row is going to do. But a couple of things everyone knows. 1)Production is half the game and tha row has really weak production as a label and not too many of the top producers in the game are going to do anything to help suge knight and his label. 2) tha row already fucked up with crooked i by wasting so damn hood months ago (the remastered version sucks) 3) MOST of their signed artists arent that good to be honest and i dont know if true fans will suffer through a bad album just because he or she is on tha row. I dont care what kind of power Suge has in his corner, he cant make peeps buy bad LPs.

Lets see what Kurupt and Juvenile can do without quality production and friends to help out - cause they are REALLY weak lyrically...

so id truly say that the crooked and kurupt will make or break that label. Cant blame Suge for trying to bring Death Row off of life support. But i could blame him for flooding the scene with shitty music if it happens, or maybe bringing it back who knows.

If the crooked i is really hot, like it was hyped to be for ages, then they might have something, and if not then they are in some trouble (play out NINA's death for all its worth-like they are going to do anyway)

crooked i has lyrics for days and days.  if he gets dope production then his album will undeniably dope...maybe classic.  as for as tha row being huge again.... but thats up to suge.  like someone said before.......they fucked up on "so damn hood" w that new watered down empty beat.  crooks album is supposed to come out next month, but i havent seen any promotion for it at all.  unless something happens soon, death row will be "officially" dead.
