I love his music but I gotta say 2pac.. it's not directly his fault though. And all the people who made bullshit songs and sold a lot of records, so other potentially good rappers tried the same and therefore made records that sucked.

I dunno how anyone can say Jay-Z.. he might not be the best, but songs like;

- Dead Presidents
- I Love the Dough
- Renegade
- Encore
- 99 Problems

didn't ruin hiphop @ all. Check out all his albums, sure he has some commercial tracks to get play on the radio, but most of his songs are solid. people like Ja Rule, Cam'ron & Dipset, Fabolous, Nelly.. those are the ones that continue to ruin hiphop. Most credible & decent MCs say shit actually worth listening to on their albums
army of the pharaohs never make love songs
we finger fuck bitches with freddy krueger gloves on
- celph titled

"lol infact lmao" - Proof of D12

anticipate the shots like obama at the podium

how tha fuck did DMX destroy hip hop? he´s actually one of the most important persons in hip hop in the late 90´s coz when Jay,Puff,Mase,Master P etc etc were all busy as fuck talkin bout flossing and running around and dancing in their shiny suits X came and brought it back to the streets so that´s something positive IMO. and all y´all Jay-Z stans don´t try to act like he wasn´t runnin around in his shiny suits too coz he was.
