anyone else feelin Akon? i like his song "Ghetto" & a few others, i like his style of singin.. its hip-hop mixed with an african sound any1 else feelin it?

yea his album is pretty good but i guess the song like ghetto got overplayed

His sound is great, but his lyrics are weak.  The song "Locked Up" could have easily been one of the songs of the year.  You have to listen to him without focusing on his lyrics.

I hated his first single, but that "Ghetto" song, damn that got me in the heart. The video is deep too, I like how they showed that there are ghetto's besides where WE live.

yeah i like his voice. and hell yeah that song "Ghetto" was crazy nice. i like his hook on that new Baby Bash song too (actually the beat and his chorus is the only good parts)

Locked Up was pretty dope, but that Lonely song he did was awful, haven't heard any of his other songs though.

"Locked Up", "Ghetto", and "Lonely" are all great songs IMO. And those are just his singles. Haven't heard his album yet though. Got a mixtape track with him on it that's dope too.
