Even though I've been listening to real hip-hop as long as I have, I still enjoy some of the music that Murder Inc is putting out, but I also hate the fact that they're ripping off one of Pac's songs. However, I believe that Pac was a lot more recognized than BIG, so I think people would recognize the "So Many Tears" beat vs one of Biggie's beats. Just my opinion though.....

you do realize that ja rule also totally fucked up pacs song pain too. i'm sorry but i have absolutely ZERO respect for ja rule, irv gotti, or anyone else on murder inc. and nas had so much respect from me, but i'm disappointed like a mother fucker that he supposedly is signin with them. it makes me not believe one fuckin thing that comes out of his mouth.

A good beat like So Many Tears should be used again, I think its a great beat and at least with Rule on and Ashanti it will proberly sell so its more money for Tha Row and if Pac was alvive more money for him.

A lil' correction: the beat of Pac's So Many Tears contains a sample/interpolation from "That Girl" of Stevie Wonder and it's produced by D-Flizno. Pac or Pac's estate will not receive a single cent if Ja Rule will use this beat, but only Stevie Wonder and, if Ja Rule's producer will use a sample from So Many Tears too, D-Flizno. Cause Pac didnt owe the track or the beat.

Btw Ja Rule's Pain was authorized, since he used not only a beat (of Stretch, R.I.P.), but Pac's voice too. Death Row owed the track, and they let him remix it and rap on it, cause we know Ja and Suge are cool now.. (business move).

Pac is just the victim of this business move, but that's a story we already know..

I've checked it, and you're right. That's a clip of it.

Man, it's an Ashanti track. Who cares if he used this beat? I dont even like the song, lol! (the Ashanti one). I'm cool everytime some1 uses a Pac quote or a Pac beat or shit like that, cause that means that his memory and his music is still alive. Fuck money. Afeni and Suge's lawyers will do everything to make the more money possible everytimes, but i just like people making tributes for Pac, or learning from him, musically. That's my position.

I don't mind sampling from other genres from music, and if producers use the same sample, as long as its done in different & fresh ways (M.O.P Warriorz & Dilated Peoples Worst Comes To Worst). producers who sample a beat, make a hit is fine as long as someone didn't use the same sample in a similar way 5 years ago, thats the second most whack thing you can do (murder inc, trackmasters need to be shitted on). The most whack being just jacking an old hip hop beat and using it like its new, punks who do that need to get the shit kicked out of them.

Fuck i agree 100%

My friend from Hong Kong came and i put on tha song Changes, and then hes like "hey he copied tha beat off Azn Pride-Got Rice"

i dunno if yall heard Azn Pride-Got Rice before but he uses tha changes beat.

I told him that pac made it first and then azn pride copied him.

i hear a lot of classic beats are all literally 'jacked' in one way or another...

if thats how u wanna put it...then i suppose 2pac jacked the beat for 'changes' didn't he? and the hook 2?

it's funny how u all choose to miss these kinds of things wen 2pac did them hisself.
