I know this is a tired topic, but DRE CURRENTLY...

SUCKS!!!!

Besides "The Wash" with Snoop, the two dopest beats Dre has rapped on in the last year weren't even produced by him, those being "On the BLVD." and "Bad Intentions"....i remember when we all heard those songs we were all like Dre is changing up his style and coming with something new, only to find out that Jelly Roll and Mahogany did those joints.....

Damn, DRE DOES comes with it on the remix to the classic Rolling Stones song "Miss You"....the beat is very similar to The Watcher, but nonetheless this is Dre's catchiest beat in a minute (or a year).......haven't really felt much he has rapped on lately.

Damn, i pray Dre has something up his sleeve for Rakim's joint, because for the most part i can't really feel his shit right now (even though he is the best ever)......i mean, i can't believe "Multiply" is a  single, that is crazy.  Way below what we have come to expect from Dre, as it seems Xzibits whole sampler is............

Hasn't it been done for a while tho? I thought that his devin production reminded me of one of the tracks he did with Bilal...

the track he produced for bilal ('fast lane') is tight as hell, better than bad intentions or on the blvd., i'd say...

dre co-produced Bad Intentions, in an interview knoc-turn'al said that mahogany brought the beat to dre and then dre added all the sound effects, flutes etc. Mahogany only came up with that beat at the beginning of it

i dont think his current shit sucks
his stuff has just gotten a lil old, and this old stuff is still better then most producers
but i still i reckon dre will do with detox what he did with 2001
just a big fuck you to everyone that said he fell off.
Peace.

unbeleivable, dre still creates great beats, but because sometimes he's a bit experimenting and sometimes uses "old" beats similar to 2001 people already begin calling his production isn't that good anymore. I thought 2001 proved everybody who said he fell off wrong and learn from that. If you think dre fell off keep your mouth till after detox.

Don't sweat it.  I'm sure Dre's winding down with his "2001" sound and beginning to show us what "Detox" will be all about with "Oh My God."

Just remember the songs thay preceeded "2001," like the ones of Em's first joint.  Those beats were nothing special at all.

Hey Phenixx, i am "ASS" who wrote this "one", .......is On The Boulevard really produced by Dre?  I always thought it was Jelly ROll, i still haven't got around to gettin the Wash......

Anyway, i still feel Dre's beats and shit, i just want to blow our minds, and i am tired of waiting.  I remember when he first went to The Aftermath, the sound was dope but just not incredible....that's how it feels right now.  Hopefully, things will pick up again...
