The first album is dope.

In the second one he tried too hard to appeal to the US market, and the outcome was weak. He even straight jacked Jon B's "Don't talk" for his single "Hidden agenda".

He needs to get back to UK, keep with his garage influences, and drop another hot record.

Agreed 100%. Born To Do It was some pop shit, but they were dope track nonetheless. All the singles off the second CD sounded like the guy was tryying too hard.

And LOL at people thinking that wasn't Nate Dogg on 7 Days. Trust me, it is. I got the single and it's official - printed right there on the cover and credits. How the fuck does it sound like Crag Dvaid?? lol.

There was news about the Nate feature all over when it dropped - here's one of the first stories on Google:

Craig David Taps DJ Premier, Nate Dogg, Mos Def For '7 Days' Remixes

11/15/2001 12:00 PM, LAUNCH
Kastle

(11/15/01, 12 p.m. ET) -- Craig David's latest single, "7 Days," which entered Billboard's Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart last week at Number 16, features two hip-hop remixes. A guest rap from Fat Joe has been added to the album version of the song, and DJ Premier has produced an additional remix that features Nate Dogg and Mos Def.

The native of Southampton, England also releases the "7 Days" video this week. In the video, David gives his account of his first seven days dating an older woman. When LAUNCH spoke to David about the real-life subject of the song, he said the age difference was not a big deal. "She was 24, but she kinda chilled down and didn't act like a teenager or anything," he said. "But I guess I acted up as well because I working in clubs where it was 18 years old to get in, I was like 15, 16 rocking around. So I was growing and maturing with older people. So I guess that's why 24 wasn't like way, way beyond. I mean, if it was 38, (and I was) 18, then you could say, 'Craig, you got to fix up yourself.'"

David's debut album, Born To Do It, has sold more than 500,000 copies in the U.S. since its July release.

"Can You Fill Me In?" has got to be one of the gayest (literally) songs I've ever heard.  I don't like the dude, he's waaay too soft for me.
