Jackie Robinson Day April 15th
« on: April 15, 2005, 12:07:46 AM »
April 15th 1947, Jackie Robinson was the first black athlete to play in the Majors.  He started as a 1B.

Jackie Robinson would probably laugh his ass off at Milton Bradley, Gary Sheffield, Ron Artest, Jermain Oneal for their actions.  If any of these players would have been in Robinson's shoes back when he first started playing they wouldnt last one stinking game.

I'll be at the game later tonight against the Padres as they celebrate the career and life ofJackie Robinson.

the man changed the game, he led the way not only for Blacks, but for other minorities as well
Oh I like this one... One dog goes one way, the other dog goes the other way, and this guy's sayin', "Whadda ya want from me?
