Truth Hurts album wasn't all that
« on: July 30, 2002, 09:24:37 AM »
I made a big mistake calling it the Chronic of R@B albums.

I mean, yo, what the fuck am I gonna do with an album by some fine ass black chick, singing in a sexy ass voice, moaning all over ever song, talking about some street hustler who turns her pages or some dude that used to sell drugs and now he's in jail and she misses fucking him.

Yo, sorry ya'll, what am I gonna do with that shit but just fantasize about fucking her?  It does nothing for me.  I fantasize bout women enough without rolling around in my car listening to that ish.

Um..Music is her best quality--not her looks.  And I think the album is hot.  I love the songs Bullshit and The Truth-plus theres some hot Dre and Quik production on this album.  I like it

I know it isn't all that that's why I didn't buy it.

Half the cats bought it for Dre's production, not because of Truth.

I could personally care less about her too.

I'd like to know you asre compaing this album to. First of all i see this as far better than average. She is a breathof fresh air compared to a lot of these bullshit RnB singers. Most of them rely more on looks than talent. For example Ashanti and Tweet. There very few female RnB singers who impress me Alicia Keys and Truth are the main ones at this point.

I think it's a pretty solid album.  Some tracks on there are let downs but others make up for it.

I disagree...I hate that track.  The beat is terrible...it sounds like some egyptian shit.  Rakim is aight, but the song overall is a big pile of whackness...

Well you have your  own opinions everybody does, but I  love the beat to this track, I think the egyptain feel to the song is good in the way that it sets a good mood for the song and the flow is tightttttttttt.  I love the track.
