In theory, you're right, but in practicality, you're wrong.  Politics is such a dirty polluted art anyways, that it's nearly impossible to really get behind somebody, so all that really leaves is "who do I like the least" and vote for the other guy.  It's all a big game of checkers.

I'd vote for the strongest cunts that are not tory.. means labour. But only cause they can fuck with the tories not because I like them most. Same with Bush/Kerry and everytime I (would) vote. I vote for the party that can fuck best with the party I dislike most.

I know, I wish it could be that way, but it isn't.  I'm a federal conservative, but I'm really against some of their policies.  So I joined the party, and I'm trying to make a difference within it.  It's all I can do.  But I'll never complain about political things, it's free for anyone to get involved and have a voice in (for the most part).  If I'm allowed to live in a great country, I feel I should give back to it anyway that I can.
