anybody ever seen the holocaust movie "Life is beautiful"

i just waked and baked and its like 10am , but this movie  i just randomly flipped to is a fuckin crazy movie. "Life is Beautiful". about a jewish family that gets sent to the concentration camp, but he tries to keep all the horrors away from his son, and he pretends that teh whole thing is just some imaginary contest thing that everyone is participating in. its weird cos its comedy at some moments when hes playing with his son, but then its fucking sad that its during the holocaust. anyways i think this got nominated for like 7 academy awards and won 3 including best actor.. i'm not sure exactly when it was released. but i highly suggest you check it out.

was the movie originally in English ? i saw it a long while ago, its either French or English...

it was originally in italian (if i remember correctly.)

but i saw that movie when it came out, i really enjoyed it. I put it right under schindlers list.

originalmente si chiamava "La Vita e bella", it´s italian, director´s Roberto Benigni, they worship this guy in italy lol. but it´s really a very good movie, i watched it in (history) class too
