Welcome To Tha House also comprises hip-hop and R&B entries from Doggystyle acts Mr. Kane, Soopafly, Latoiya Williams, and E. White. Snoop Dogg recently explained the album's make-up. "I just wanted to put this record out to let the whole world know what I had to offer as far as, you know, me creatively putting together a record that was really a soundtrack to a lifestyle instead of it being just a all hip-hop record or all R&B record. It's got a little bit of everythang on it because that's how we represented it--that's how this talent over here is overflowing," he said.

Snoop Dogg released three first singles from the album: Williams's "Fallen Star"; Mr. Kane's "Nite L.O.C.s"; and "Doh Doh" featuring the Doggystyle All-Stars.
